Izu Garden in June   2017

It was a fine and hot day. I left Yokohama at 7:30 am and arrived in the Izu villa at 9:30 am.

In order to avoid heat stroke, I did gardening while taking 10-minute breaks after every one hour working. I repeated this interval , twice in the morning and  three times in the afternoon.  Most of the time was spent pulling  weeds and  trimming branches of several trees. Finally I cut turf at 2 cm heights using the power mower. The corner of turf and steep slope turf  was cut using  the  handy mower. Five 45- litter garbage plastic bags were used in total  to dispose of weeds and cut grass.

On my way home from Izu  garden, I stopped at the Ebina drive-in  and bought some dinner  and arrived home at 7 pm. According to the Fitbit , I  walked 18,414 steps and spent 3,550 calories on the day.

What's Fitbit? Fitbit is a wrist band which uses wireless enabled wearable technology,  to measure one's health related data such as the number of steps walked, heart rate, quality of sleep, steps climbed , and other personal metrics involved fitness.
