Easter April 1
This Year’s Easter is April 1, about two weeks earlier than last year. About 200 people participated in the Easter service. This number is almost three times larger than the ordinary Sunday Church services. Incidentally, the largest number of participants in the Sanko Church are gathered during Christmas - about 400 people. These special memorable day’s service have trumpet play accompanied with organ when singing hymns. This trumpet is added for a glorious and majestic atmosphere. After the service, we had a love feast in the church’s garden and had a pleasant time having homemade dishes from the participants and talking with each other. This time, I had a chance to talk with some artists - a pianist, a cellist, and a painter. Through talking, I was really impressed that those people have special talents and are actively involved in the front line in the society.
